KECU is not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned and operated by it's members just like you. Earnings are returned to members just like you. Earnings are returned in the form of dividends on savings and low rate loans.

KECU's field of membership includes any public sector employee, Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities, members of the Bluegrass ADD and Kentuckiana ADD and family members of anyone in these groups. If you meet any of these requirements, then you are eligible to join KECU.

Public Sector includes: County, Local, State, and Federal Government employees and Public Schools employees.

AIKCU includes: Alice Lloyd College, Asbury College, Bellarmine University, Berea College, Brescia University, Campbellsville University, Centre College, Cumberland College, Georgetown College, Kentucky Christian College, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Lindsey Wilson College, Midway College, Pikeville College, Saint Catherine College, Spalding University, Thomas More College, Transylvania University, Union College.

Bluegrass ADD counties served: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford.

How to join KECU

This membership application form is in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader®. You may complete the form online but you must print the form and then mail or fax it to KECU. Please complete as much of the information as possible on the application. Before joining you must read our membership and account agreement. One will be sent to you after your application has been approved.

If there will be additional individuals on the account please complete all of the information for the joint owner.

Please include opening deposits with your application:

A $5 minimum deposit is required to open a Share (savings) Account.

A $30 minimum deposit is required to open a Share Draft (checking)Account. $25 must be deposited into the Share Draft Account (checking) and $5 into the Share Account (savings). For deposits greater than $30 please specify how the funds should be deposited.
